Pittsburgh Penguins Prospect Update – November 2019

We are a month into the 2019-20 NHL season so it is time to take a look and see how the Pittsburgh Penguins prospects are performing thus far. Here are all the Pens prospects playing in Europe, the junior leagues, and the NCAA.

For the first time in longer than I can remember they don’t have any goaltending prospects playing developmentally, everybody in the system is signed and playing in the minors. Standings in European prospect entries are listed in IIHF format: regulation wins-overtime/shootout wins-overtime/shootout losses-regulation losses.

I write about hockey, mostly focused on the Pittsburgh Penguins and Vegas Golden Knights. NHL, AHL (Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Chicago Wolves), ECHL (Wheeling Nailers), and various prospects from my teams playing in Europe (SHL, Liiga, KHL, etc...), the Canadian Major Juniors (OHL, QMJHL, and WHL), and in the NCAA (and some in lower tier juniors prior to joining the NCAA).
